FINE PRINT GRANTS

Serving Montana.

We handle the fine print, so you don't have to.

Grant writing is largely formulaic. Black and white (like our website, aptly).  It is the stories and missions within them that bring life and color.

Fine Print Grants specializes in federal grant applications in the public and mental health sectors, working (primarily) with Montana-based non-profits and Tribal nations.

We find real joy in grant writing, because through it, we get to learn about the myriad public health programs operating in our state (plus, who doesn't love endless Montana statistics?). We're based in Bozeman, but often travel around the state.   Let's connect to funnel money into good hands together!

MISSION

To funnel money into good hands.

What We Offer

We offer various services such as: one-time proposal projects, customized master grant application templates, grant opportunity research, and short- and long-term fundraising strategy.  We focus on building and deepening client relationships toward long-term success and joy at work.

Our Values

We value fun through *the process* (...yes, "the process" of grant writing.  Try us!).  We love coming out of a federal grant project feeling like we could call up a past client, post-deadline, just to have coffee or lunch when we're in their area of the state (and we often do that!).  After all, we dive deep with our client programs, and get to know them intimately.

We also value meticulousness, precision, and accuracy.  If you notice a typo or error on this website, let us know (...it's basically like smiling with food in our teeth), and receive 20% off your next service, up to $200.

If you’d like more information about our services, get in touch today.

ABOUT

My name is Lauren, the founder and lead operator of Fine Print Grants. Through the proposals I have co-written or solo'ed, I have helped draw in or manage $4.93M to tribally-affiliated organizations and non-profits in Montana since 2019.

I served as Project Director for a federal CDC grant at Fort Peck Community College (on the homelands of the Fort Peck Assiniboine & Sioux Tribes) for four years, where I began my grant writing journey.  During those years, I learned about the intricacies (and complexities) of federal grant writing, reporting, and management.  I believe in helping funnel money to on-the-ground organizations doing the work they know is best fit for their communities.  Let's work together to fund your vision!
